Let’s get you set up with your beautiful new website.

Before we get started, avoid the technical hassle and let us help by doing all the tech work for you. If you have already ordered this service an email with instructions has been sent.

If you already have your own hosting provider and wordpress installed go to step 4. If you don’t have hosting or a domain name, start at step 1.

1 - Hosting & Domain Name

  1. Sign up for a hosting plan from Hostinger. Scroll down, until you see the different price plans. We recommend Premium Shared Hosting, this is great for fast loading websites and includes a free domain and domain email account. This will cost $2.59/mo* or $32/yr*. (* The plan requires an upfront payment of $124.32 for 48 months. Use Honey for discounts!)
  2. Once you have created your hosting account.Go to Home then Claim your free domain.
  3. Enter your desired domain name, if your domain name is available then click claim domain.

2 - Create your Domain Email account

  1. select Emails in the Hostinger menu to setup your domain email account
  2. You should see @yourdomainname with an envelope icon to the left, select it.
  3. Select Add email account, then create your email name and password credentials. (example email name hello@yourdomain.com or yourname@yourdomain.com)
  4. After you have created you’ve created your credentials you can login at mail.hostinger.com

3 -Installing WordPress

  1. select  Hosting in the Hostinger menu to view your domain
  2. Click on manage to enter the domain manager
  3. Scroll down to the website section and choose auto installer
  4. Select the wordpress option from the menu
  5. Create your installation details, then install.
  6. To enter wordpress go to Hosting in the Hostinger menu
  7. Then manage, wordpress should be at the top, select dashboard 
  8. To the left you should see the edit website button, select button to enter the wordpress dashboard

4 -Install and activate the Hello Elementor theme

  1. Download the latest Hello Elementor theme from Here
  2. In your wordpress menu, go to appearance, then themes and select add new
  3. Upload the Hello Elementor theme and activate it

5 -Download and Install the Elementor Pro plugin

  1. Create an Elementor account, you will need an Essential plan in order to utilize the template’s full functionality.
  2. Once you have your Essential plan go to subscriptions and download zip
  3. In WordPress go to plugins, then add new, then upload the zip you downloaded.
  4. Active the plugin.
  5. In your WordPress menu, select Elementor, then License and then connect and activate. You must be logged into your Elementor account.

6 -Import Your New Website Template

  1. In the wordpress menu. Select Templates, then click the Import Templates button at the top. 
  2. Import your Website template which you can find in your email or in your account dashboard (create an account with the email you used to purchase)

7 -Create the Main and Footer Nav Menus

  1. In the wordpress menu, select Pages, then add A new page labeled Home, then publish. Repeat for  About, Contact and Blog pages
  2. In the wordpress menu, select appearance then Menus.
  3. Under Menu structure, type in Main Menu as the Menu Name.
  4. Under Add menu items, select the pages (home, about, blog and contact) the select add to menu. (If you don’t want a blog exclude blog)
  5. You can rearrange the menu items by selecting and dragging under the menu structure. Items at the top appear in the menu before other items
  6. Select Save Menu
  7. Optional step (Create a footer menu) – You can create a footer menu for non important links (terms of services, disclaimers etc). Repeat the steps above. (Note – these pages will not be branded to your template as they are not included in the package, if you have purchased the Template Customization package these will be created)

8 -Set up homepage and blog posts page

  1. In the wordpress menu, select settings, then Reading.
  2. Change Your homepage displays to A static page.
  3. Set homepage to Home and Posts page to Blog
  4. Save Changes

9 -Add your logo and favicon

  1. In the wordpress menu, select Appearance, then Customize.
  2. Select Site Identity from the menu .
  3. Upload your logo
  4. Edit your Site Title and Tagline (The site title and tagline will be shown in the browser tab and bookmarks)
  5. Upload your Site Icon or Favicon (This is a circular or square representation of your logo or branding that is shown in the browser tab)
  6. Select publish, the button should greyed out and say published.
  7. Press the X to close the customizer.

10 -Add your autoresponder details

  1. In the wordpress menu, select Elementor.
  2. Select the Integrations tab, enter your autoresponder details. These can be found in your email marketing software account settings. (If you don’t have an email marketing software we recommend AWeber it’s free up to 500 contacts on a single list. And 19.99/month for unlimited lists !)
  3. After you have entered your details scroll down and select save changes.

11 -Setup Template Part 1

  1. In the wordpress menu, select Pages
  2. Select Home, then Edit with Elementor. The menu to the left is the Elementor menu.
  3. In the center, select the folder icon(add template), when the library pops up, select my templates
  4. Insert the single page type with  labelled Home – ‘ Your Template Name’.
  5. In the Elementor menu, select UPDATE at the bottom.
  6. In the Elementor Menu select the menu icon at the top then select exit to dashboard
  7. Select the W icon in the top left corner to head back to the wordpress dashboard
  8. Repeat  steps 1 – 7 for the About and Contact pages

If you have made it this far congrats! You may not need our help after all. However, if you become overwhelmed along the way, we are here for you. 

12 -Setup Template Part 2

  1. In the wordpress menu, select Templates, then Theme Builder
  2. Select the header tab, then select Nav Menu – ‘Your Template Name’, then edit with Elementor 
  3. On the left elementor menu, at the bottom select the up arrow beside the update button.
  4. Select display conditions, then add condition. The condition should be ‘include’ and ‘entire site.’ then press save and close.
  5. In the content area, at the top right hover the CTA button (Call to Action Button), then slightly shift your mouse pointer towards the top center, you’ll see a pencil icon highlighted labelled edit nav menu. Select the pencil icon, the elementor menu should update.
  6. In the elementor menu, select Main Menu from the list of menus.
  7. Now, select the CTA button, the elementor menu should update.
  8. You can change the text of your CTA and add a link to your CTA ( this can be a direct link to the contact page or you can add an offsite link like calendy etc. You can also get a customized CTA page if you purchased the Template Customization package)
  9. Press save and close, then update then exit to dashboard.
  10. Repeat step 1
  11. Select the footer tab, then select Footer Nav – ‘Your Template Name’, then edit with elementor
  12. On the left elementor menu, at the bottom select the up arrow beside the update button.
  13. Select display conditions, then add condition. The condition should be ‘Include’ and ‘Entire Site.’ then press save and close.
  14. Change “Name of Lead Magnet” to your Lead Magnet as well as the description text below.
  15. To link your email list, place your mouse over the download button until you see the pencil icon. Select the pencil icon, then the elementor menu will update to ‘ Edit Form’.
  16. Select actions After Submit, select the plus button next to Collect Submissions and choose your appropriate email responder.
  17. A new tab with your autoresponder should appear, select your lead magnet list from the audience or list option. (You can add an additional step such as redirect in the Actions After Submit tab to redirect to your lead magnet.)
  18. In the field mapping section, set Email to Email and First Name to Name in the drop down options
  19. Press the update button, then exit to dashboard
  20. Repeat step 1
  21. Select the Archive tab, then select Blog Posts – ‘Your Template Name’, then edit with elementor 
  22. On the left elementor menu, at the bottom select the up arrow beside the update button.
  23. Select display conditions, then add condition. The condition should be ‘Include’ and ‘Posts Archive.’ then press save and close.
  24. Edit the Blog Heading Text and description. 
  25. Then update and exit to dashboard
  26. Repeat step 1
  27. Select the Post Single tab, then select Post Single – ‘Your Template Name’, then edit with elementor 
  28. On the left elementor menu, at the bottom select the up arrow beside the update button.
  29. Select display conditions, then add condition. The condition should be ‘Include’ and ‘Posts.’ then press save and close.
  30. Scroll down to the newsletter section,to link your email list, place your mouse over the send button until you see the pencil icon. Select the pencil icon, then the elementor menu will update to ‘ Edit Form’.
  31. Select actions After Submit, select the plus button next to Collect Submissions and choose your appropriate email responder.
  32. A new tab with your autoresponder should appear, select your lead magnet list from the audience or list option. 
  33. In the field mapping section, set Email to Email  in the drop down options
  34. Press the update button, then exit to dashboard

13 -Edit Your Template

  1. You can edit the copy of the Home, About, Blog and Contact Pages using Elementor.
  2. Go to Pages, select the page you want to edit, then select edit with Elementor.
  3. You can hover the text or image element you wish to change, then press the pencil icon.
  4. The Elementor menu should update to reflect the current element you’re editing. For text, you can type and replace the text that’s there or you can edit text in the elementor menu. 
  5. For Images, select the image. In the elementor menu, select the choose image option to upload or replace the image. 
  6. For icons, select the icon. In the elementor menu, hover the icon then select Icon Library. Choose an icon that matches your service or product. (Get custom designed icons in the Template Customization package)
  7. For the price table, select the table you want to edit. You can edit the text directly on the price table. In the Elementor tab, you can edit the price as well as add a ribbon to the table that has the best value.

  10. Select the update menu in the elementor menu to save all changes

14 -Setup your contact form

  1. On the contact page, hover over the contact form. Select the pencil icon, then the elementor menu will update to ‘ Edit Form’.
  2. Select Actions After Submit, select the plus button next to Collect Submissions and choose email.
  3. A new tab Email tab should appear, select it to expand the options. 
  4. In the To section enter your domain email address (example: hello@yourdomain.com)
  5. In the Subject section add  New message from [field id=”name”] 
  6. n the Message section add [field id=”message”]
  7. In the From Email section add [field id=”email”]
  8. In the from Name section add [field id=”name”]
  9. Finally, update then exit to dashboard.

15 -Your website is ready to launch!
